Deborah comes seasoned with numerous years of experience and expertise in both business and real estate. She graduated top of her class in 1983 from the University of South Carolina with a BS in Business Administration. For over 25 years she has worked as a top producing agent specializing in the luxury home market in Charleston and surrounding areas. For more than 20 years, she served as a managing member and broker-in-charge of a residential construction and real estate firm.
In 2012 she became a resident of Poplar Grove and quickly developed a passion and firsthand experience for all Poplar Grove has to offer. She is heavily involved in the local community and has been awarded numerous accolades including Woman of the Year and the Association of Realtors award for ethics and realtor representation. She has served as youth minister of her community church and raised funds for various charitable foundations throughout the community. Her passion is working with buyers and helping them find their 'dream home' or working with them to build it. Living in Poplar Grove herself, Deborah offers a unique perspective and level of availability rarely seen.
Elyssa St.Pierre
Elyssa Wingard graduated with Honors from SCAD with a Bachelor’s degree. Elyssa was a sales manager and top sales producer for 4 years before joining our Team. Having grown up in the family Construction and Real Estate business, along with her exceptional sales, design and management skills, she brings a wealth of knowledge and talent to the sales team. Elyssa is available to customers and clients offering them the highest level of service. Elyssa has served her church community by serving on their Evangelistic team. She is passionate about helping customers find or create their dream home.
In addition to real estate sales, Elyssa works with local Builder’s to design and make selections on new builds. As a long term resident of Charleston, Elyssa knows the market trends and can help you get your dream home or sell your current home for the best price possible.
Shawn Doogan
Shawn joined SEFH in 2013 with more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He started working in the industry as an owner/ operator of his own company in his home state, New York. For the past 30 years Shawn has proven to be a dedicated and proficient builder for more than 3 large developers on the East Coast.
With experience in all aspects of development, Shawn has proven to skillfully manage custom build residences, large single family home developments and commercial projects such as community centers and restaurants. Shawn’s ability to take charge of a project, identify the scope of work and resolve problems, maintain budget and a strong customer relationship makes him the ideal builder for any project.
Kevin Hughes
Kevin Hughes is a valued SEFH superintendent. Kevin started working in construction with his father when he was 12 years old. He grew up watching his dad’s iron work company flourish in Long Island, NY. After studying Construction technology, Kevin started his full-time professional career as an owner and project manager of Pinnacle Custom Homes and Renovations.
With 27 years of experience, Kevin comes with an extensive skill set and eye for detail. Kevin takes great care of the subcontractors that he manages and the homeowners that build and buy with SEFH.
Vic Mills
Vic Mills has been active in commercial and residential development for more than 40 years.
He founded Southeastern Family Homes in 1985 with the purpose of establishing residential communities offering the highest standards for land design, architectural controls and providing residents with a commitment to maintaining these high standards over the life of the development. We’ve held to these standards through periods of economic prosperity and decline.
Vic also serves as CEO of Southeastern Development Associates, one of the largest commercial developers in the Southeast.
Charles Dolan
Mr. Dolan has over 28 years of experience in residential and light commercial construction and is a licensed builder in both Georgia and South Carolina. He has been with the Southeastern Development Associates since 1990, and currently oversees construction activities on single-family homes in the Augusta area and on various townhome communities in Charleston, SC. Mr. Dolan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Georgia in 1984. Prior to joining Southeastern Development Associates, Mr. Dolan worked with Caliber in Atlanta for 6 years in development and construction. He is a certified “green” builder that focuses mostly on single-family, multi-family, and light commercial projects.
Sandy Owen
Sandy Owen joined SEFH in February 2015 after relocating from Central Florida to the Augusta area. She has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage business ranging from customer service, loan processing, and loan closing for residential and construction/perm loans.
Sandy’s responsibilities are numerous and include; payroll, preparing construction billing reports for construction draws, maintaining job binders with all invoices, job changes, plans, permits, insurance, etc. In addition, she picks up permits from county, plans from draftsman and corresponds via phone and email with subs, vendors, and/or clients.
Ms. Owen is an invaluable asset to SEFH.
